Academic Tutoring
I am a Texas-certified teacher with over a decade of classroom experience and specialized training in both traditional and Montessori education. I hold Montessori Elementary I and II credentials and most recently, I was a teacher at Garden Oaks Montessori in HISD (2013–2025), where I taught students in grades 1-6. I’m also a proud resident of the GOOF neighborhood.
I have a strong background in math, from elementary basics through middle school and Algebra I, and I love helping students build confidence in their abilities. I also enjoy supporting the growth of reading and language arts skills, and I work with students to strengthen executive functioning skills, such as organization, time management, and study strategies—all the tools they need to feel successful and more independent in their learning.
Tutoring sessions are always tailored to meet your child’s unique needs—whether they’re struggling with a concept, aiming to prevent the summer slide, needing help with schoolwork, or seeking academic enrichment and challenge. I’m here to support their growth with patience, expertise, and a love of learning.
